5 Tips for a Better Business Plan
Dee Power
A few years ago when I first started my online home business I didn't have a clue regarding how to go about it. I had never done any Internet marketing. I didn't know anything about websites or search engines or any of that other online business stuff; in short, I was a complete rookie. In retrospect, the two major things that really helped me included that I refused to be intimidated and I kept a realistic perspective.

Do we really need to like our job? Only 10% of workers surveyed say they look forward to going to work everyday. Less than 40% of under-25 workers are “satisfied.” CareerBuilder.com states that 84% of people surveyed state they are not in their dream jobs. Is there a point beyond “no kidding?” Not really.
Humans are wired to have fun. People like to eat, drink, sleep, be with family and friends, watch TV, play games or surf the Internet. Work is those hours per week that has us going against our natural inclinations. Work will ask us to adopt a different role and apply our abilities to meet the company’s needs. For that effort, we are rewarded with money and that allows us to have more fun.
The workplace does not have to be dull and dreadful. That’s a reflection of the management team. Every job, even the most demanding, can be tolerable with leadership that emphasizes empathy and positive attitudes.
