You've heard the horror stories. Perhaps you've experienced it yourself. Many people have nearly gone insane after the disaster that all computer-dependent individuals shiver at the thought of: the great computer crash.
Anytime your hard drive crashes or you lose your data, you'll need to turn to data recovery to properly restore your information. AUGUST MUSINGS
Tallness is an age-old pecking order for humans. People often see height (or the appearance of height) as more powerful, smarter and prepared. The perception of tallness leads others to believe that taller people are deserving of their promotional status and are more competent. If competitive business is the “jungle”, then tallness is the equivalent of chest thumping. The last US President who was shorter than the average US male was over 100 years ago (William McKinley at 5’7”).
The lesson is to change people’s perception. You need to remember your parent’s advice: stand tall, don’t slouch, sit up straight and keep you head high. Build a look of confidence by staying in good physical condition (nothing beats an athletic presence), walk with a purpose, speak clearly and concisely and wear tailored clothes.
It is very unlikely you’ll go up against the kind of tallness you would see in pro basketball so level the “playing field” by looking and acting confidant. Use your mind by being prepared and anticipating the next move. A quick mind and agile body can easily overcome a 6’2” dunderhead.
