Being optimistic is a very difficult task for all of us, especially when our human emotions are more inclined to move toward the negative. Optimism, however, can be learned, developed or created and you don't have to be a rocket scientist to achieve this. Creating an optimistic approach to life just means exerting some regular effort at observing your thoughts and emotions and finding ways to be able to look at the positive side of even the worst things in life.
Liz Copeland
My recent teleclass on procrastination dealt with the whys and hows including the 3 steps to getting out of procrastination and the one essential ingredient to really get yourself moving forward. But on the call I didn't have time to explore in detail some of the most “wonderful” procrastination activities. I think it will make the point that we are all endlessly creative in putting things off! So, what are the major reasons excuses for procrastinating?

Have you ever been traveling, at work or maybe a friend's house and wished you had access to a Word document, Power Point presentation or Excel spreadsheet that was at home on your hard drive? This actually happened to me. Then I found and fell in love with Google Docs.

One of the nice things about Internet marketing is how inexpensive it can be when done correctly. In this article I will talk about how to boost website traffic without spending a lot of money. These 4 methods have worked in the past and continue to work today.

"Aren't teleseminars being superseded by webinars?" This is a reasonable question. A webinar is a seminar that people listen and watch on the web via their computer. A teleseminar involves listening via the telephone or a computer. Webinars have numerous disadvantages in comparison to teleseminars.

Online fax has been revolutionary, especially when you consider how business is done in this new computer age. Companies and small business owners have embraced this new way of faxing, totally changing the workplace setting or where work is done. Since online fax is simply using your email system (your faxes are sent as email attachments) and your Internet connection, your faxes are available anywhere, anytime.

You can become a successful online marketer but it will take a lot of time and work on your part. It just doesn't happen overnight, at least, this has been my experience and we can only write about our own experiences and views. Over the years, I have also found it helpful to get pointers from someone who is actually doing what I wanted to do. So I have put together 7 tips for becoming a successful online marketer.
Willie Crawford
Many people coming online and then decide to sell affiliate products never sell a single product. The reason is glaringly obvious and it's not the unfortunate affiliate marketer's fault. Think about any job that you've ever held in the offline world. What happened? You were hired and told when to report for work. When you showed up for work you were entered into training. Depending upon the job, you spent weeks, sometimes even months, with a trainer guiding you and looking over your shoulder. Compare that with your typical affiliate program that the complete newbie can join.

It doesn't matter if running an E-Biz is old hat for you or if you're just getting started. Advertising is always going to be a key element of your business strategy. Search engine marketing is probably the biggest tool you have available for promoting your web store, so you need to stay on top of the trends in that area to be competitive.
Dan Lok
It has often been said that copywriting is science and art. And the best copywriters will be the first to tell you it's an endeavor with a life-long education. You can set your copy apart, be unique and find your own personal style by going within. Forget books for a while.

Virtual assistants are independent contractors who provide administrative assistance to multiple clients. Unlike regular assistants, they work out of their homes rather than at your business' physical location. For small E-Biz owners, using a virtual assistant offers numerous advantages.

While Google, Yahoo and Microsoft may be the pay-per-click heavyweight contenders, another strong player is Miva. Miva is an independent search network (formerly known as Findwhat) powering over 2 billion search queries a month. You only pay for clicks on your ads, just as with the other pay-per-click networks. It's highly targeted traffic at an inexpensive price.
Judy Murdoch
For many small business owners email is an important marketing tool. Email helps you keep in touch with customers and prospects, it allows you to demonstrate how you help hence building credibility and email leads to more sales. When done well, email is an awesome guerrilla marketing tool.

The Limited Liability Company (LLC) option still generates questions and confusion among business owners, entrepreneurs and investors and that's too bad. One can rather easily provide an explanation of the LLC by answering three questions: what is a limited liability company, why should one contemplate the LLC option and how does someone setup an LLC or limited liability company.

Most people experience self-doubt on a regular basis and I am not immune. I have spent entirely too much of my life trying to accept myself as I am. While easy for me to see how wonderful and special you are, it was a challenge for many years to see myself in the same light. It’s no wonder that my journey led me into psychiatric nursing and success coaching not only to work on my own personal development but to assist others in their personal leadership development as well.
Wendy Betterini
It's been said that character is defined by what you do when you think no one is watching. What an illuminating concept that is. Most of us have a public face and a private face. There are parts of ourselves we don't want the world to see. Typically, we tend to hide the aspects that would not be viewed favorably by society. Greed, lust, jealousy, pettiness, fears and so on. We also tend to hide our weaknesses.
Andria L. Corso
Simplify your talent management and development programs with these 5 steps: define, describe, discuss, decide and differentiate. Just because talent development involves the most precious commodity in your company does not mean it needs to be complex. By using these 5 steps, your solution can have impact and yet be simple.
Linda Hampton
What do you think is easier: Operating on a trial and error basis as you work toward your mission and life goals or seek the support and mentoring of someone who's been there and done that? When you work with a mentor or coach who's been through what you're going through, you can choose to avoid mistakes and focus you time and energy on what actually works. That's the power of coaching.
