Your constant challenge as a direct mail copywriter is to effectively communicate with target markets in their language. Many writers specialize in one or two niche areas. It doesn't matter. Even seasoned writers sometimes drop the ball and make easily avoidable mistakes. Today I'll discuss 3 common mistakes I've seen in direct mail copywriting (more prevalent online but still see some real blunders in offline copy). Put these DM copywriting tips in your repertoire and use them. You'll see magic in your response rates and conversions.
Network marketing can be a great way to make a living. It has provided many people with the personal and financial freedom that most 9-to-5 jobs could never offer. However, it does not happen overnight. When you are involved with network marketing you are running your own home-based business and it takes time and effort to reach any significant level of success.
Information, much of it in the form of written content, is what drives the Internet. As a result, article writing is extremely important to Internet entrepreneurs who wish to succeed. But sometimes circumstances arise when the articles just aren't coming.
Internet marketing gurus implore you at every click to fork out you hard earned dollars to receive their downloaded packaged supposedly containing the key to the marketing kingdom. The truth about Internet marketing is that there is no key, no silver bullet and no killer solution. Internet marketing is the same as any other kind of marketing: you have to go about it dispassionately and methodically in order to find ways to get as many sales as possible with as little outlay as possible.

Your marriage falls apart, you or your partner is laid-off or your spouse gets ill and you lose half your household income. The financial pressures sweep in like a sudden high tide and as one of my clients wrote me, "I feel so pressured to make money I can't think." What do you do in a situation like this? "Forget about the bladdy-blah-blah of patience and organic growth, man! I need to make the rent like, yesterday!" Okay, but first you need to know about the two wings of growth.
Entrepreneurs cannot work their magic in a vacuum. While the Lone Ranger and Dirty Harry may have made for some great TV, they did not have to sell a good, woo a customer, win a client or impress an investor. This kind of personality is perhaps the least conducive for home business purposes, yet some entrepreneurs have found that they slipped into the mindset of its being against the rest of the world.
The typical business, whether online or offline tends to go through phases just like everything else in life. The slow times normally brings out the best creative ideas or can be the deciding factor in whether or not the business survive or not. Learning how to monetize your business for long term profitability and security is crucial to its success.
Mary saw it coming. The economy had dramatically impacted the company she worked for and there were several of pink slips handed out on Friday afternoon. Her job had been axed, along with several of her coworkers. What now? She and her husband had talked about the possibility of a lay-off when the economy first slumped and Mary had said at the time that she had dreamed of owning her own business. In her spare time she painted watercolor. Friends and family had encouraged her to pursue it as a career but she had never had the nerve or opportunity until now.

Many leaders assume that everyone understands their vision. Often there is a big gap between their vision and what the people they lead see as the vision. Unfortunately many leaders don't take the time to actually find out how well they have expressed their vision to their team.
Inspirational Words
Gary M. Miller
Inspirational words can really be found everywhere. It's just a matter of being able to see them. From our homes, our schools to our workplace, there are opportunities to find inspirational words. From the movies we watch, the books we read, the music we listen to and the people we talk to every single day of our lives, we can be inspired to do great things.
Have you ever heard of a business where there is no leader or in a more technical term, a boss? Perhaps it is quite inconceivable, since it highly significant in every field that one directs them towards their goal. For instance, if you want to employ a change in system within your business, a leader would have to stand out for you to get through the swamp.
Have you ever known two people that seem to have the same amount of talent, ability, and smarts but only one of them seems to have success in their life? You may wonder why in the world the other person can't ever seem to achieve anything great when they have just as much ability as the other person.

Writing and distributing articles online can do a fabulous job of spreading around links to your web site. Six weeks ago, for example, I distributed an article through iSnare.com and various business-related Yahoo article distribution groups. Today, a Google search on that article's title reveals that the article is already on close to 500 other web sites, each time with a link back to my site.
Everyone knows how hard it is to make a business known to people. Businessmen usually employ a lot of advertising strategies just so that they can boost their sales a bit. The usual ways how a person can advertise is television, radio, magazines, billboards, letters and newspapers. But now, there's a whole new playing field on the Internet. Be the master of this new playing field and you'll soon be rolling in riches.
E-Business and Spam
George Meszaros
No, you don't have to eat it but you have to believe it. SPAM is serious business. There is so much spam online that even some of the largest Internet service providers are struggling to fight it. Servers are overloaded; the filtering software is far from perfect. The result is many of your well intended e-mails end up in bulk mail folders intended for the millionth Viagra spam that has managed to escape your spam filtering software.
Lots of ways exist to help you increase your website visitors. You can spend time, money and considerable effort getting variable results with many of them. Attempting various methods and studying the results has been a focus of mine. I'll review one of my favorites for you.

Marketing and its little brother advertising are all about storytelling. It doesn't matter if you are talking about a display ad for a magazine, a Web-video for your website or for a Google Video Ad; if it doesn't tell a story then it's not going to do the job.
"Creating Resistance in Your Copy" is an idea that is alien to most online marketers. After all, online marketers want to believe that everyone should buy their products and services because the more people buying what is being sold, the more money the marketer will inevitably earn.
Until fairly recently, writing marketing copy was a strange and mysterious undertaking to me. It's funny because when I was doing advertising research, I often worked closely with copywriters. I would interview customers to learn how they responded to different messages and report back to the creative team. Sometimes the copywriter or art director would have questions they wanted me to ask my focus groups. So I got to know the writers and their work pretty well. Yet, when they went back to their desk to actually create the message, I had no idea how they came up with the words that moved customers to action.
When I was a kid, one of my favorite toys was a yo-yo – a spinning disc on a string that could be set in suspended motion with the flick of a wrist, and then reeled back in with a twitch of the hand. Playing with a yo-yo was lots of fun, and my childish imagination never caused me to wonder what it might feel like to "be a yo-yo." Today, as I watch Internet marketers offering their customers product after product, I understand what it must feel like being a yo-yo and I personally would HATE the feeling. I hope that you're not a yo-yo marketer.
