When starting a new business you will hear a lot about budgeting. You will learn how to write a budget based on the anticipated amount of income on a daily, weekly and monthly basis. How good your budgeting plan will depend on how disciplined you are in sticking to the established amount you have dedicated to every item in your budget. But many businesses fail due to their lack of action when one piece of their budget doesn't fit together to form the perfect picture of their business.
I believe that one should be very careful about how they invest their money. Very often I see people that invest a huge sum of money when the potential for return is low and the risks are high. In this scenario it is better to leave your money earning interest in the bank.
It's called best practices and it means the best way of doing something. It's what successful businesses know, making them more efficient and effective in delivering value. Businesses that do things less efficiently and effectively deliver less value and are less competitive and eventually go out of business. They don't get to play the game.
Running a business with members of your family is a desirable prospect for some people. Let me offer five items to consider that may influence the chances of your business not being successful and possibly straining your family relationships.
