One of my clients recently asked me whether she should charge for a series of tip sheets she created for families traveling with young children. Great question; the truth is, sometimes you should give information and resources away and sometimes you should sell them. The real question is WHEN to charge and when not to. In this article, I'll give you some guidelines around when to charge and when to give information away.
When writing copy for your website always keep in mind the famous saying, "it's not what you say, it's how you say it". Show how your product or service will solve their problems, answer a dream, enrich their lives, and/or improve their businesses. You are the dependable expert that they want and need!

There's a breakneck pace that many new single-person business owners assume. With an infinite number of things to do and about a dozen hats to wear, it quickly gets overwhelming. And, that's nothing compared to what happens once the business actually has some momentum.
Article marketing is a very powerful way to get more traffic, build your reputation and boost your business. Writing articles on a regular basis and then submitting them to article banks and ezine publishers can do a lot for your business. Unfortunately many of us have doubts about our ability to write quality articles. Believe me, I did as well when I first starting writing articles more than 10 years ago.
A new phenomenon among home-business entrepreneurs is the small business owner who might manufacture something that in and of itself will not provide enough income to see her or him through financially, but in a way provides a nice little side line income. These entrepreneurs may have four or five sidelines going on at the same time and when totaling up the profits of all their little ventures, it soon becomes obvious that this will be sufficient to keep them in business and also pay the bills.
Without understanding how to build a good concept, good product, good service and good content, everything else is a waste of time. If you have already been surfing the web for an Internet business that makes the most of your skills and experience, then you have already realized that operating a cyberspace business uses different techniques, methods, and tools than a brick and mortar storefront does.

Do you enjoy leading, guiding or directing? Do you look forward to making decisions that impact the lives of others? Would you rather give the responsibility for making choices to someone else? Most of us have been in a position of authority and all of us have met someone who possesses the qualities of an effective leader.
Expect With Confidence
Kurt Mortensen
Often our expectations are based on the assumptions we have about people or groups of people. The same is true of us. Have you ever noticed how your expectations become reality in your personal life?
Five Steps Toward Eliminating Overwhelm
Julie Fuimano, RN, MBA, CSAC
Overwhelmed? It happens to the best of us at times. Some people live in a constant state of overwhelm. Knowing yourself, being aware of your abilities and creating an environment that nurtures your success can help to alleviate or minimize overwhelm. Overwhelm means you need to simplify. It means you need to cut back, slow down, eliminate, and outsource. “Simplify” means you need to do less.
A good leader can take a team and accomplish things that no one believed was possible. In order to do this they must make incremental changes that are challenging but not impossible. By giving their organization a string of successes they will build momentum and attitudes that will help them overcome even difficult situations in the future.

Sometimes it seems like the hardest thing to do in business is to get things done: so little time, so many obstacles. Finding the time to devote to creating a sustained, focused marketing effort seems impossible. But the biggest obstacles of all are some of your trusted colleagues and advisors. Patch size vary and may be as small as a few kilobytes or go as high as hundreds of megabytes. The larger the size, the larger the change the patch is scheduled to do. Typically when media, such as pictures and sounds, are changed or added instead of a program, files become rather large. This is usually seen in patches designed to update or modify computer games.
If the interaction on social networking sites like MySpace is accepted as true blogging, then there are millions of Internet users who qualify as social bloggers and you can answer the question, "Yes, blogging is for everyone." But if we were to define blogging from a commercial standpoint, then blogging is clearly not for everyone and it might not even be for you. Less than 8% of all those who access the Internet have commercial blogs.
