The textbook definition of motivation states it as being an inner process that moves you unerringly toward the attainment of your goal. That definition should also include the mental concepts of purpose and vision. The real glue to building lasting motivations is the cultivation of the qualities drive and determination.
Those who are gifted with the power of inspirational thought get it from within themselves but it doesn't happen by accident. There is a method and a means to achieving this energy that can be had by anyone, no matter who you are. All that is required is a determination to sit still and look deep inside you.

Thousands of thoughts go through your mind in the course of your day and each day you make many choices. Your choices intend to bring you the greatest value. Your perception of what adds value is based on your thoughts, beliefs, feelings and habits. These were created from your life experiences and your personal interpretation of events.
Many people assume that if someone is successful it is because they have good leadership skills. Some people assume that if a business is successful it is because it has good leaders. Leadership isn't something that is particularly easy to pass on to other people. Sometimes a company is successful because a past leader was very skilled as a leader and the current leader simply has kept things running the same as before.
