I once remember my dad saying to me that the most important things you learn in life are those things you learn once you thought you knew it all. I never really acknowledged the importance or the natural impact of that statement, until I coached women’s softball.
How customers view you or your products is garnered by a framework of assumptions, stories and images in their minds. If you really want to influence someone, your first task is to understand how they think. An individual's perspective on the world can be identified and "mapped."
What is the physiology of success? Think of a person who would generally be considered successful, maybe a politician, motivational speaker or actor. What sets them apart? They step onto stage or walk into a meeting and everyone just knows. They are something special.
Even the most outwardly confident person has times when they would appreciate more self-confidence. For the rest of us, here are 7 helpful tips for improving self-confidence.

Would you find it amazing to learn that adults, when given options, find that “a man and woman having sex” is more offensive than “a graphically severed human head” or “multiple use of the F-word?” In a survey of adults regarding the content of video games accessible by their children, 37 percent found heterosexual sex more offensive than 2 men kissing (27%), a severed head (26%) or the frequent use of the F-word (10%). There doesn’t seem to be any research to support that viewing sex leads to adolescent sex but there is evidence to support that viewing violence can lead to adolescent violence (including bullying).
How can the American culture reconcile its fascination with violence and still insist it is Christian nation? The New Testament is centered on peace and unconditional love. Can you name a war from the past 21 centuries (World War II could be an exception) that wasn’t a result of politicians fighting a war in the name of Christianity?
