A merchant account is one piece of your payment solution. In its simplest terms, it's a bank account that allows your E-Biz to accept online credit cards and e-checks. At a specific time each day, your merchant account bank receives that day's completed transactions. If no issues arise, the bank then wires the money into your business checking account.
When looking for home business opportunities, you will see get-rich quick schemes, marketing schemes and dead end job opportunities that may cost you extra in the long term. By carefully reading ads, researching companies before filling out an application and learning more about a specific industry you're interested in working for, it will become easier to spot legitimate opportunities from the scams.
Now I know that it's just a normal part of the game: the path to developing a home based business will have numerous high points and low points. Back a few years ago, when I was starting my home-based business, no one ever told me about the emotional highs and lows that I would experience in the early stages of getting my business running.
Don't panic; the four letter word I am referring to is FREE. If you are like me and you have a website, you already know that you cannot make any money without traffic. I have found many free or inexpensive advertising mediums that I would like to share with you.
